Invalid Parent ID

Hi Dang,

Quick question. We have problems on one of our websites when uploading documents from the front-end.
When submitting a document in the front-end we get an error message "Save failed with the following error: Invalid Parent ID".
The document is visible in the back-end but without an assigned category.

Probably not a big issue but we can't figure out where the problem is. Could you please assist.

Please login to Back-end of your site first and run 2 direct links through your browser:
1. yoursite.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_edocman&task=rebuild_categories
2. yoursite.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_edocman&task=rebuild_documents
After that, you can to modify Edocman categories and documents normally.

Thanks for the fast feedback.
I have run the direct links through the browser.
Everything works fine in the back-end. But it's still not possible to assign a category in the front-end.
We still receive the error message.

Hello Dam,

That's right. I see the according category in the front-end. I can submit the upload form but i get the error message after the upload has been done. In the back-end, i can see the new uploaded document. But there is no category assigned to the document.
