Indexer Limit? was created by SERGIO DURAN
Hi I just purchase EDocman (just for index capabilities),I have already installed it, and everything seems to be ok....
Well...
1.- I have to browse this forum to get the indexer plugin.
2.- I have to disable DropBox plugin. (because of HTTP status 401 {"error": "Invalid OAuth2 token."} )
3.- I have to set manual read/execute permissions for plugins/search/doc_indexer.php.
4.- Because a line of error.log I have to install OS PDF Indexer component (because edocument refer to missing it on line 11 to /components/com_docindexer/controller.php)
After all .....the indexed file seems to be only partial, I mean, system index documents but not the full document (only first 10-12 pages) ! Does EDocman (index plugin) has a maximum words/pages for index?, since everything seems to be ok (even, edocman, tell everything its ok while indexing). I attached a sample PDF file I need to be indexed, I have like 2000 files like this one, waiting to be indexed!
Hosting / System: Rochen / Joomla 3.5.1, PHP 5.5.34
Thanks in advance.

Hi Sergio,
I am not sure about the problem, because the PDF indexer plugin doesn't have any limitation with words or characters in PDF files. Maybe the memory of your server isn't enough for reading the whole of files? You can try to submit ticket and send your site information with super admin account.
We will check the issue and get back to you.
Thanks

Hi,
I have solved the issue for you. The reason of problem is the attribute of column: indexed_content in MySQL Table: #__edocman_documents is TEXT, it doesn't enough to store the large data like content of your PDF file (387 pages), so we must change attribute to LONGTEXT and now, all the content of PDF file are stored successfully. But by this way, your system will below a bit slow. Hope you understand.
Thanks
Dam

Thanks a lot for that tip: my indexer stopped after the 267. document. Now - with a larger content-field (mediumtext should be enough) - it seams to index to the end of about 2800 docs.
