Today, we released Documents Seller version 7.0.0 with the following changes:
1. Raise System Requirement
From this version, we require PHP 7.4.0+ and Joomla 4.0.0+ to work. If you are using Joomla 3, you will still receive support from us when it is needed. But from now on, we only add new features for Joomla 4.x and Joomla 5.x. It allows us to drop legacy code which is used to support Joomla 3 and use modern code from Joomla 4 and Joomla 5 for the extension.
2. Update TCPDF Library
We updated TCPDF library uses by the extension to generate invoices PDF to latest version to make sure it is working with latest PHP releases.
3. Modern Codebase
We refactored the extension code to remove the usage of deprecated code (which is used to support Joomla 3) and use new API introduced in Joomla 4 and Joomla 5. This result in better, more modern code and make sure the extension continue working with new Joomla releases in the future
