Hi,
Just "updated" to 1.7.3 and now Category Lists called and displayed from a menu link display empty, although they contain documents. Very frustrating!

After upgrade to 1.7.4, documents can not be downloaded or viewed, but a dowloadlink is sent to the emailaddress of user.
How can I turn of this behavior?

Hi Bert Van Duin,
Please go to Back-end > Edocman > Configuration > Tab: General > and select option: Direct Download in field: Download Type.

Is it possible to upgrade from edocman 1.5.7 directly to version 1.7.4 or is there a new installation necessary?

I upgraded successfully today. I only had one issue: I could not view or download any document. My solution on this was the following change: -> Configuration -> „Download Type“ set to „Direct Download“. Now everything workes perfectly.
