How to upgrade from free to paid plan AFTER expiration

What if a customer wants to sign up for a paid plan after the exiration of a free plan.
The registration form recognises the previous subscription and doesn't accept the same email address.
Is there a way to use different registration forms for free and paid plans?

Hello

1. He should login before doing the upgrade.

2. Yes, each subscription plan can have it own set of custom fields. Go to Membership Pro -> Custom Fields, you can create custom fields (or edit existing fields) and assign it to the plans you want

Thank you for your swift and helpful answer Tuan.
Maybe it is a bit confusing that the page after expired login is showing the edit profile button but on that page there is no connection to the plans.
Maybe something for the future (or I didn' find the correct settings :-) )

Hello Wilfried

Not sure how you want it to works but expired subscriber should still be allowed to access to his user profile page. From there, he can update his profile data, renew , upgrade membership....

Hi Tuan,
My customers (expired ones) cannot reach the upgrade section through the login page.
Additional the have to go to another "My Profile" page to upgrade.
Am I using a wrong login form or is there another way around this?

This is strange to me. From what I see, look like he is being redirected to Joomla core user profile page for some reasons

You can submit a support ticket sending us:

- Super admin account
- The subscriber account
- Link to login page

I will check to see what's wrong and tell you the reason
