Coupons

How can I set a coupon to be available only to existing members of a plan ? I'm trying to set up a discount for members renewing before their membership expires

Unfortunately, it is not possible at the moment. Is your subscribers belong to certain Joomla user groups? If so, I think we can solve it by adding a setting called Access to coupon so that only users with certain access level can use the coupon

Please let me know so that I can think more about it and address it in next release (should be soon, in 2 to 3 weeks)

We are set up as follows
Plan 1 = Registered (Free never exxpires)
Plan 2 = Paid (expires after 1 year)
Plan 3 = Trader (expires after 1 year
When a subscriber signs up to Plan 1 they get put into Joomla group 1 with certain access levels
Signing up (or upgrading ) to Plan 2 adds them to Joomla groups 1 and 2 with increased access levels, on expiry they are removed from group 2 but kept in group 1
Signing up (or upgrading ) to Plan 3 puts them in Joomla groups 1 and 3 with different access levels, on expiry they are removed from group 3 but kept in group 1
So we want the coupon to be available if they are in Joomla group 2 or 3 but not if only in Joomla group 1
So it looks like your suggestion of an Access setting would be ideal for us.

Then we will use access level for now. Give me about 2 weeks from today to have new version completed (containing this feature)
