LMS-Learning Managment System -Membership Pro Link was created by Andrew Crossan
Our client has a third party learning management system (LMS) where subscribers can watch video, download workbooks, take quizzes, track their progress.
We would like to bring this functionality with a native Joomla LMS extension we would onto our current website that's already using membership pro (currently a Joomla! 3.8 website).
Several questions:
1. Any recommendations on good Joomla! LMS extensions?
2. This particular website uses subscription group management very aggressively. Ultimately, we would like those subscription group administrators to be able to generate/view activity reports where they can monitor the progress of all the members of the group. Can we do this with membership pro?

Hi Andrew
1. Honestly, I don't have any experience with LMS, so I don't know a good extension to recommend
2. We only allow group admin to add group members into his group so that group members can access to restricted resources. We don't have report function to allow group admin to view the report (honestly, I don't know which information can be useful to group admin)
Regards,
Tuan

Andrew,
Once you define what you need your LMS to do - then pick one. I have been working with LMS(s) for a number of years - for what it is worth:
LMSKing - not viable
JoomlaLMS - too expensive - more than what I need
Guru - in theory Okay, but they are missing big features (not course export, media library not pleasant)
I was waiting for some form of group admin - now it seems Tuan has done it!
Check my premise, if yours is similar, you may be able to save time/money/sanity.
Premise: create/sell courses to a corporation - individual courses - corporate package (for max X students). The admin signs up for a course (or a 1-10 employee course). They can then add up to 10 students/employees.
They take a course which is all the articles in a Joomla category. The student takes a quiz and gets a certificate.
Simple.
With Membership Pro + Joomla Quiz Deluxe you can do this.

Tuan, am I correct in the Membership Pro / Group portion?
I have been using JoomlaLMS (too expensive and too much todo)
