Error
There was an error uploading this file to the server.
Maximum PHP file upload size is too small: This is set in php.ini in both upload_max_filesize and post_max_size settings of your PHP settings (located in php.ini and/or .htaccess file).
Unable to find install package
Have reset both max upload and max size settings to 20M with no success.
Be careful about buying an extension you cannot install.

Hi Eric
As answered via email, this installation process is handled by Joomla, not Membership Pro, so it's not a problem with Membership Pro as you said.
The error message clear indicating that it comes from upload_max_filesize setting of the server. Maybe you need to restart the web server after making the change for the change to take affect
If you cannot install Membership Pro, you will also cannot install any large extension (size greater than 2MB)
You can try to use install from folder option, see for instructions docs.joomlabamboo.com/getting-started/ho...der-in-joomla-3.html
Please let us know if you need more help. We will be happy to assist
Regards,
Tuan

Got the installation to work after unzipping the membership file then installing from the tmp folder. Directions were not clear in that two files needed to be unziped before the installation was complete.
