Registered count does not match number registrants

After testing an event I deleted all the registrants for the event which left the registered count with a number greater than zero. How do I reset the count back to zero and I will probably need to reset the counts for the custom field selections as well.

Hello

I don't think you deleted all necessary data. Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set the config option Include Group Billing Records In Registrants Management to Yes

Then check it again. You will see these billing records still not being deleted. Just delete these remaining records and number registrants of the event will be reset to zero
