Fields not setting to required

I have two fields which are set in backend as required fields but they are not indicated with asterisks on frontend and if they are left blank the form can be submitted without this data.

How do I fix this?

You will need to edit the form, look at Fields Setting tab to make a field require/not require. I believe you mark the field as required on Fields Management page and that's not the correct way. Need to edit the form to change the settings.

Please do that and it will work as expected.

The fields that are not working correctly do not show up in the forms management area...I only see the default fields. These fields are custom additional fields.

Oh, then you are using a very old version of the extension. If it is possible, please upgrade your site to latest version of the extension and the issue should be sorted.

If you could not upgrade (your order might be expired), you can submit a support ticket sending us administrator and FTP account of your site and we will solve it for you .

If I upgrade to new version is the new install simple and will it retain all of my current forms and data?

Yes. Upgrade is simple. Just install new version over the old version. All the old data will be kept.
