Develop custom fields possible?

Hi

1. Is it possible to develop own custom fields for OS Services Booking?
2. Is it possible to restrict a new booking for a user before an existing booking is passed? I expect not, but perhaps with a custom plugin hooking into OS Services Booking?

1. OS Services Booking supports Custom fields feature, you can manage your custom fields at Back-end -> OS Services Booking -> Manage Custom fields.

As to my question 1: I'm not thinking about the current custom field types. I want to develop a new custom field type, to use with custom fields - is that possible?

2: The case is, if I as a user makes a booking for a service, then I want to prevent the user from making another booking before the first booking has passed. In other words, the user can only have 1 booking at a time.

Sorry, i was misunderstand your idea.
1. OS Services Booking doesn't support different custom fields method except: Select List, Checkbox.
Text and Image can only be used on Checkout form.
2. OS Services Booking only doesn't have feature to restrict user from booking when he (she) already booked the services and that order isn't passed.

I know IS Services Booking doesn't support the 2 requests currently, but what I was looking to know, was if it was possible to do.

1. Is it possible to develop a new field type.
2. Can we develop a plugin that hooks into OS Services Booking and prevents more than one active booking.

Perhaps it could be something I could sponsor, if you could give me a quote on it. This would also allow others to enjoy these features, and ensure easy upgrades instead of hacking the component.

Is this something you could be interested in?

Sorry for late response, regarding to your new questions:
1. Is it possible to develop a new field type.
-> Unfortunately, currently, we aren't able to add new field type in OS Services Booking.
2. Can we develop a plugin that hooks into OS Services Booking and prevents more than one active booking.
-> Actually, we can have the code to check if the logged user already made the booking on OS Services Booking system, but it will only be applied to logged user. Non-logged user can make booking many times and we can't restrict them.

For 2: This is for a membership site, where only registered users can make bookings, so no problem there.
