using account balance

Hello,

I am assisting one of your customers develop their website. The feature for the client to apply an account balance to a booking has us confused. We do not see the ability to apply an existing account balance and then pay for the difference, if there is any, via a standard Payment method. We are merely taken to a screen that says we have an insufficient balance with no option to make up the difference, what are we not understanding?

If this is not an included functionality is it possible to contract you at additional cost to build it in, if yes about how much would that be? If it could be accomplished via an add-on plug-in that would be wonderful.

Hi Ben,
Currently, OS Services Booking doesn't have feature to allow user to pay for their balances. All balances must be entered from back-end side. But we will consider to add this feature in near future.

Thank you for the timely reply. Let me provide an example to be clear of what's needed.

1. booking client has $50.00 in account balance entered from back end.
2. client adds to cart a $75.00 service and proceeds to check out.
3. The option to apply existing $50.00 is already built in to osb, but if they apply it they get the insufficient balance screen. We need this changed.

We need option to apply existing $50.00 from to cart amount which would leave remainder due $25.00. Then they have option to pay that $25.00 with existing payment methods instead of insufficient balance page. In other words apply existing balance like they can apply a coupon amount before payment.

Not asking for them to add to balance from front end, just pay balance difference at check out.

If you will add that feature how long would you expect to take? Or can we pay for this custom modification, if yes cost?
