Email field Ajax Error was created by Abeer Kirollos
I installed Event Booking 1.7.1 and when the user is logged in from the frontend (in order to get member discount applied), the email field shows an error and does not propagate the already saved email address for that user as seen in screenshot. This only happens for already registered users however, it works fine for non-registered guests/public.
I tried to adjust the validation rules for the email field but it keeps re-seting to: validate[required, custom

Hi
1=> For the issue in the screenshot, infact, it is a bug of Joomla core email cloaking plugin. Go to Extensions -> Plugins Manager, move the "EB Register" plugin after "Content - Email Cloaking" plugin and the issue will be sorted
For the email validation rule, we disable changing it because we are worry that customers will make mistake why changing it. What's the reason you want to change it? Please let me know so that I can find a solution. We will have to edit code to allow you to change it if you want

Thank you for your reply. Moving EB Register did solve the ajax error. I thought it had to do with the validation rule and that is why I mentioned it.
But, why don't all fields about the user do not populate automatically after signing in? I see the first name, last name and email but not the address or phone (as seen in screenshot).

Hi
What fields you are talking about? The fields from Joomla core user profile? If so, you will have to do some settings in the extension to make it works:
1. Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, find the config option "Integration", set it to "Joomla Profile"
2. Then go to Events Booking -> Custom Fields, edit the custom fields and in the Field Mapping, select the field in Joomla core profile which will be mapped with this field
After that, it will work as expected
