Kunena Spam Killer component

Thank you for your hard work on the Kunena Spam Killer component.

Upon my visiting your Kunena forums I have noticed that the "title of the spam message" is not removed in the catogory view, I am also suffering from the same issue. Would is be possible to make the component also remone the title from the catogory view.

I have attached a screen-shot of the problem as found on your fourms, for your reference.

Hi Paul

I spent sometime this morning to modify the plugin alitle . The way it works is now different :

- The check is performed before the post stored in Kunena database .

- If the plugin detect that the post is spam posts, It will send email to administrator (if enabled), stop the process .

So basically, there will be no spam posts stored in the database , and everything will work well .

I am testing it at the moment (actually in this forum) . When I confirm that It works, I will send the updated file to you .

Tested and it works very well . Now , the way it works is different from how it works before :

- The plugin now check the forum post before the post is stored into database .

- If the post is a spam message, the process will be existed (nothing stored in the database, no email is sent to admin) .

- If the post is not a spam, everything will work as usual .


Just updated the code this morning, everything works fine . All spam posts were catched, here is some spam notification email from plugin :

Dear Administrator

User KaraTroup has posted a forum post which the system think that It is a spam message . You can login to back-end, check to publish or delete this message .

Attached is the plugin . Please get the file, unzip it and upload to folder plugins/system of your site. After that, everything will work as expected .

i up this tread beacause i try to use spamkiller , but it doesn't work .. I put spamkiller.php in /plugins/system , and i don't see any where ..

What i have miss ?

Please don't upgrade the file manually . You need to install it as normal Joomla plugin .
