I run competitive events and in each event the entrants enter one particular section within that event depending on either their age or ability. Each section is played at the same location with the same start and finish times etc. At the moment this can be handled by treating each section as a separate event but it would be much better if it were possible to define one event with one or more sections, thus removing the need to duplicate entry of data common to the event as a whole for each section.
