Module Edocman categories was created by Sylvain Fuchs
Hello

I don't really like the way all the categories and sub categories are displayed on the categories module.

I see that it used menu.treerecurse to display a tree of categories.

Is it simple to have multiple UL / LI to build a real menu system ? To simply differenciate all the levels ? Because actuelly it's only with one UL and multiple LI.
I need something like the module Menu of Joomla.

Thanks !

In the beginning I thought 'this is going to be perfect for what I want', so I uploaded all my documents etc.

But when it came to using the module, I could not find how to show only one category on a given page, instead I had to show all the categories, am I missing something?

This lack of functionality and the less than attractive look of the module itself forced me to use other methods to get what I needed.

Unfortunately the documentations limited explanations didn't help me solve my issues.

If I could just pick one category to go on one page, I would use it again.

Yes this module is missing some great functionnality like defining the parent category to show.

And with that kind of generated HTML, there is no possibility do style the display with CSS because all the levels are on the same level.
