How to stop duplicate emails?

YourArlington.com has a number of people making donations who report duplucate emails. See attached file.

Note, for example, the transaction number for Katherine Fennely is the same. No new donation, but the donator gets a new email.

Can you suggest how to prevent this? Or is this an issue with PayPal?

It is strange issue, could you please submit ticket on category: Joom Donation and provide your site credentials. We will help you to figure the cause of issue.

Any resolution to this? Having the same issue.

I took out a ticket with Joom Donation support, and Mr. Dam added code to our installation, which appears to have stopped them. These were recurring donations via PayPal. I sent a test recurring donation ($10) to our site Dec. 10, spurring no duplicate email. I have a second test set to go Jan. 10, 2024.

NEVER give your password to anyone, including PayPal employees. Protect yourself against fraudulent websites by opening a new web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer or Firefox) and typing in the PayPal URL every time you log in to your account.
