Hi there,
how to control the emails the admin receives, particularly any time a user successfully subscribes/upgrade a plan?
I filled Mail Settings on Configuration, but that doesn't seem to be enough: the subscriber receives the email with the invoice but not the admin, although on Invoice Settings I set Send Copy of Invoice to Administrators to YES.
What am I missing?
In conclusion, I'd like to know how to control ALL the emails the admin can receive depending on the actions of the subscribers.
Thanks.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I'd need that when a user upgrades his plan, or successfully subscribes, the admin gets a notification via email.
As of now, the admin doesn't receive any email when a user subscribes or upgrades.
Please consider what I wrote in my previous post in this topic on Configuration - Mail Settings.
thanks

Hello

Admin should receive notifications. Maybe he does not receive it because there are something wrong with mail settings on your site. Could you please:

1. Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Log Emails config option to Yes

2. Then try to subscribe/renew/upgrade membership again

3. Go to Membership Pro, then Tools -> Emails Logs, check to see if there are emails send to admin listed there:

- If there is email logged, then the system works OK already. You will need to contact hosting provider and ask them to check to see why you do not receive email
- If there is no email logged, then there is something wrong. In this case, submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that I can check it directly on your site

Regards,

Tuan

Hi there,
  1. log emails is set to yes
  2. only emails to subscribers are logged and sent: not the emails to the admin: neither logged nor sent.
  3. Configuration - Mail settings - Disable Admin Notification = NO
  4. the admin regularly receives notification from other components
  5. the site is still on a local server.
Could it be a bug? Could you please check and see if you have the same issue?
thanks,
have a good day.

Hello

No, it is not a bug. This is a widely used feature, so if there is bug like that, customers would kill me already

For this, there could be something special on your site causing the error. For example, you empty the subject of the emails (the email subject and message could be controlled in Membership Pro -> Emails & Messages section). Better, setup your site to a public accessible server so that we can help checking it directly on your site

I'd suggest to check it out: other users may have overlooked it.
I have 2 sites updated to the last version of Membership Pro and Joomla 4.1.2 and with both sites I have the same issue: mails to admin are neither logged nor sent. On Emails & Messages section all is ok.
Thanks.

Just tried again here on our demo site and it is working OK. Tried local development computer and it worked OK, too

So as I said, you need to give us access to your site so that we can check it

Thank you,
let me ask you a question for now: how Membership Pro knows who is the admin?
Is there any setting needed to tell Membership Pro who is the admin or Membership Pro automatically assumes that the admin is the super user?
Thanks.

Hello

In Membership Pro -> Configuration, there is a config option called Notification Emails. You can enter the emails you want there (comma separated) and these emails will receive notifications (admins in your questions)
