Get discount on plan

Hi,

is there a way to create conditional plans? For example: plan »a« is the basic paid plan. Every subscriber of plan »a« gets 10% discount when buying plan »b«.

Unfortunately, there is no way to support it at the moment. Maybe in the future, we could develop a plugin to allow generating coupon code and send to subscribers when they subscribe for certain subscription plan

vouchers are only valid once. it would be practical if there was a basic plan on which you get a discount on other plans. even several times. and we would also like to use it in the future for your event booking componetn. basic members get a discount on bookings.

For Events Booking, it is already possible somehow. The idea is:

- You can configure Membership Pro to assign subscribers to certain user groups. See membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/joomla-groups-integration
- Then use Member Discount settings in Events Booking to give subscribers discount when they register for your events. See eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...nt#discount-settings

You can create a simple picture in the form of a banner with a promo code, for example, and attach it as a document in plan A, and set up the promo code itself so that it would apply to plan B

That could be an idea. However, since it is displayed in the banner, everyone would see that promo code, not just subscribers of plan A

The concern could be solved if you can:

1. Configure the system so that when someone subscribes to plan A, they will be assigned to the right user group for plan A

2. Use access level for the coupon code so that only users who subscribe for the plan A can use that coupon.

That would require clever setup, but should be doable

In the future, a kind of Member Discounts (allow setup discount amount for users from certain user groups - same with Members Discount in Events Booking) could be implemented to handle this requirement

I do not mean like a banner on the front, but a simple picture or even a pdf file that can be attached to any plan, no ?

If so, you can just put the code to the email. However, one thing to concern is that people can still share the code to others, so better, setup coupon code with right access level would help
