Manually change status after payment

Hello;
We have created a subscription model with different plans where we want the status stays as pending even after the payment went through as there are other criteria that our membership team has to verify before manually approving the subscription. is there a configuration setting to achieve that?

Sorry but the extension does not support this option. In Membership Pro, subscription status will become active immediately after payment is completed

What payment method you are using? Maybe we can help modifying code of the payment plugin to have the subscription remain Pending instead of Active
