Changing Email in Payment Form was created by Rae
How do you change the associated Author Email address in the payment method?
I can see how to change the Author Name but there is no field for the email address. See image. Please advise.

Best wishes,
Rae

Hi

You will need to change it via database. The data is stored in email field in #__pf_payment_plugins database table. I don't know why you want to change it as it is just displayed in the backend, not from frontend of your site

Thanks, Tuan.

However, if it is only a text field than why have it at all? It gives the unpleasant assumption that copies of transactions are sent to that address. Wouldn't it be better to remove that and any other uneditable fields from the administrator side?

Best wishes,
Rae

It is used for displaying purpose. It will show who is the author of the payment plugin (please note that the extension allows third party developer to develop the payment plugins as well).

Actually, until now, I don't see anyone complains about it, so I think we will just leave it there

Regards,

Tuan
