Confirmation Page Customization

Hello,

How do you customize the confirmation page? we want to change the layout of it and put more information, we want to have 2 columns, left is for the Confirmation Form where the components shows the customer's details, and on the right, some more information.

We can do it via modules, but is there other way? cause we need to make sure that the right content is only on that page. Module has a tendency so show up somewhere and there no specific menu item for the page that we can assign.
