subscription e-mail massage attachment

Hi there!

What would be a good practice for sending a subscription e-mail massage with terms and conditions as a pdf attachment? I think it's not possible with Membership Pro Emails & Massages out of the box, right?
Do I need the integration of a newsletter or a download extension?

Hi Christian

I think you can upload the PDF file somewhere on your site / server. Then use the HTML editor to edit the email messages, insert the link to that PDF document into the message

Please note that you will also need to config the HTML editor you are using, set Link Type to Absolute URL (default it is relative URLs)

Otherwise, the link to the PDF file which subscribers receive in the email won't be clickable

Thank you, I thought about this.
But unfortunately with german law there's the need to send the terms and conditions amongst others as a text file which means
- including the text in the subscription email body or
- attachment.

Including makes a very large email so I thought an attachment to be more practicable.

Sorry Christian but at the moment, the system doesn't support sending attachment in the email

If you really need it, upload the attachment somewhere in your server. Then submit a support ticket sending us super admin account, path to the attachment and we will edit code to make it works for you

many thanks for your offer!
For now I'm leaving the text included with the subscription email.
Maybe the possibility of a subscription email attachment could be interesting for future membership pro releases? But If this is only a feature corresponding to german law I can understand if it's not interesting for your membership pro development.
