[SOLVED} Display Members List was created by Sue McQueen
Hi
Loving this tool...but need help!
In another support thread regarding the display of members info you suggest editing the default.php....

"If you want to add more customization to the list, you will need to edit code. Look at the file components/com_osmembership/views/members/tmpl/default.php and customize it to meet your further need"

This was a great help for me to some extent, but my php skills are very limited! Can you advise me as to what I would change in order to REMOVE the Name of the Plan and the Subscription Date from the the whole list, please not just the headers/titles?

Also, are you still looking at adapting this section so we can display members' avatars etc?

Sue

Hi Sue

You can get this file, unzip it, upload to components/com_osmembership/views/members/tmpl folder of your site it will work well. I will add support for avatar, but it might take from 4 to 6 weeks to have it available in the extension as I have to work on other features as well

Thank you for the script; the layout is better, however,

- The layout is reverse alphabet - how do I change that round?

- I still wish to get rid of the elements Plan Title and Subscription Date

Also, the other (custom fields) elements don't show although I have configured them to do so. Do only 'core' fields show?
Thank you
Sue

That's strange. With the file I sent you, it should not display the columns you are talking about. What version you are using? Maybe you are using old version or uploaded the file to wrong folder ? That's the only reason I can see the columns still being displayed there

Hi
You're correct - I added it to the wrong file - I put it into view instead of views

components/com_osmembership/view/members/tmpl/default.php

I've now added it to the correct place, but it's still not working correctly. Should I change view back to the original and if so can you tell me what to put, please?!
Thanks
Sue

I think you should submit a support ticket sending me super admin account of your site so that I can put it to correct place for you. It should save time for both of us

Tuan

I have been using a file you provided earlier every time I update, but this time it did not work. I have version 2.04 I downloaded this file and it does not work either.

Hi, I responded to this but obviously it did not work.
The list needs to show names plus the membership Plan and custom fields.. Dates are not required. The list without names is incomplete
