I am using several check box custom fields for things like "Join e-mail list" and these seem to work OK but they do not get recorded correctly in the database.
On the viewed donations seen in the back end they are always set and show as a checked box. On the exported file they are always blank and in the field_value table they get recorded as [""]
I have just used the check-boxes as offered. not added any default values or checking, am I missing some step?
Can you help me solve this issue, regrettably the site went live because I missed this in my testing because the boxes defaulted to being set and showed as set. My bad. Now we do not know if customers subscribed to our mail list or not.
The site is the latest Joomla 3.x and your software is version 4.0
