Comma separator doesn't work

Hi,

I seem to have a problem with the separator, when I donate an ammount of € 5,50 Joomdonation turns it into € 550. When I donate a amount of 5.50 evrything works fine but in the Netherlands whe use the , as separator. Of course in "Configuration" I have set the decimal separator as ,

Is there a solution?

Some modification to the code will be needed. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that we can make the modification for you?

I made changes to some files to make it works:

1. Please get this file, unzip it, you will see several files

2. Upload file components/com_jdonation/donation/tmpl/ folder

3. Upload the file jdonation.js to components\com_jdonation\assets\js folder

4. Upload the file jquery.validationEngine.js to components\com_jdonation\assets\js\validate\js folder

After that, please check it again and let me know the result

I had the same issue with the comma separator. I have just followed your instructions and now the comma separator works fine!

Great. Thanks Joan for the update. I will think more about it and will consider adding this to to the core download package. Not many customers need it but at least when you need it, you won't have to find a modified version on forum

Thank you very much for this fix!!! Hundreds of users from my websites will be very happy with it. I have tested it successfully. Now only the thermometer is giving a comma instead of point as thousand separator but that is not a big issue.

It would be very nice if you could indeed add this fix to the core download package.
