Bugs found in 1.4 was created by Brendan
Hello,

I have found the following bugs in the new 1.4 update.

1. Pre defined replies now longer work.

2. While submitting tickets (front end), the system asks for all fields to be filled in even if they are not required.

3. While submitting tickets (Front end), the system is asking for a custom field which is disabled, the only resolution was to delete the custom field.

I will post more if I find any.

Cheers

Brendan

Tuan Pham Ngoc, will there be an update to resolve these issues?

Hi Bredan

1. Pre-defined replies will only work if you are using text-area for comment. If you use HTML editor for comment, it won't work. Could you check it again ?

2. How do it asks for the information ? After the ticket is submitted ? Or before the form is submitted ?

Maybe you can submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that I can check it directly on your site ?

Regards,

Tuan

Same issue here!
I am using "Custom Fields". If I set "Require" to "No", Helpdesk Pro 1.4.0 says "The field ABC is required!". Plus if I set "Require" to "Yes", Helpdesk Pro 1.4.0 doesn't indicate * (after field title).

I guess Helpdesk Pro 1.4.0 has some bug around "Require".

Sorry for my poor English.

Sorry ALL. I confirm the issue and fixed it. Please download latest version from server, upgrade it to your site and the issue will be gone. Really sorry, there was a typo in the code
