captcha/verification code/error message

Hello- I am just getting my Events Booking component set up. I'm stuck on two things:
When someone registers, the registration form includes a title for 'verification code' but there is no field for it. I'm assuming this would be the 'captcha' code, but it's not there.
I can make that immediate problem go away by not requiring captcha info on the registration form, but then I come across another problem, which is that when someone registers, they get a message that says:
'Session expired or cookies are not enabled in your browser. Please press "reload page" in your browser, and enable cookies in your browser. Please refresh/reload page before filling-in.'
I have tried everything I can think of and am out of ideas.

I have the same issue with the Verification Code text being on there with no actual code. Was there a resolution?

Maybe there is javascript conflict and it causes the issue. Please submit a support ticket sending us admin and FTP account of your site. I am going to check to see what's wrong and get it corrected for you
