Show past events was created by veganvixen
Hi,
I want all calendars to show past events. It was working before and now they have disappeared. Can you please tell me how to enable the full calendar and the Mini calendar to always show the events?
Thanks!

Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, find the config option Hide Past Events, set it to No and It will work well.

A related topic. We need to be able to show SOME of the past events. Examples are those in this calendar or fiscal year or for a specified number of months back. It looks to site visitors like we don't do anything if they look during a quiet period. Any way to do this? We could pass a parm as an &variable in the URL.

Hi John
Unfortunately, it is not possible to do that by simple passing information in URLs. So I think in this case, you will need to find a developer to help you to customize the extension so that :
1. You can choose any events you want to be always showed (by checking on a checkbox when you create an event)
2. The system will then show these past events (which you selected).
I believe doing customization like that will cost you about 30$.

Adding to this thread....
It would be nice to be able to show past events in the Calendar view, but hide in the category listing.
The events Calendar gets a bit empty and it would be nice to show potential participants the past events without cluttering the category listing.

Yes, this would do what I want. The idea is to show our program, past and present, but only allow registration for future. Perhaps an additional setting in configuration so calendar and category test different flags?

Maybe having another config option called Hide Past Events in Calendar. Set it to Yes will hide events on the calendar.
That should solve the issue.

Yes, I'm thinking the other way around and config to hide past events in Category Listing View. I want all of them to show in the Calendar.
Thank you!

My calendar used to show the past events but now my calendar does not show past events (after upgrade)
I have the 'Hide Past Events' set to 'Yes' in configuration, because I do not want to show them in 'List view'
But I do want to show them in 'Calendar view'
Can you help?
