Pick up only option

Hi guys,
I'm struggling to find a way to offer pick up only on items sold through EShop.

I read in this thread that selecting require shipping No would hide steps 3 & 4 from the checkout process by not offering a shipping option but that doesn't seem to work.

At this stage I can't find any other references to this requirement. Do you have any suggestions? I'm about to go live with a site in a week's time and need to find a solution to this urgently.

Any suggestions are welcome at this point. Thank you in advance.

You have to set the same option in single product. Change it with a DB query if you have many products

I have used the free shipping option (in the shipping add-on) for pick-up orders (or free local deliveries). I changed the wording in the language file so instead of saying Free Shipping it now says Free Shipping by prior arrangement, I also have other shipping methods for postage. You could change the Free Shipping wording to Pick Up only. (language files do get overwritten on updates unless you take steps to customise it). I have found this a good alternative, even though users still have to nominate a delivery address, which doesn't hurt in case they change their mind later on.
