No download link-User-Agent header Problem

hello I am using DS version 2.6.5 for joomla 2.5. After paypal payments customers are not being sent the download link. I also does not have New Document order notification in my mail. Paypal settings are seem correct.Paypal plugin enabled and mail is correct. What should I do any suggestion?

I ve contacted paypal on that issue and their response was: Your IPN postbacks result in http 403 error. Because you are using an empty user agent header in your requests. Be sure that you have User-Agent header in your submits.The User-Agent header should be at least 5 characters. We have updated our systems 2 days ago and the User-Agent header is necessary now. What should I do in that case? Can I resolve this problem with Updating my DS to the last version?

I am not sure why this issue happens. We use the same Paypal payment plugin on our website to sell extensions and it still works well these days.

Maybe your site sets to offline mode at the moment ? Or you installed a security plugin on your website which might block the Paypal IPN messages ?

What version you are using ? If it is possible, please upgrade your site to latest version of the extension. Also, when you test it, please make sure :

1. You don't set your site to offline mode.

2. Your site doesn't have any security plugin like RS Firewall or Admin Tools pro enabled. These plugins usually block the IPN messages from Paypal and causes the extension doesn't work

My DS version is 2.6.5 . Do I have to uninstall the old version or can I upgrade it directly without unistalling. I do not want to lose old document data.

Hello I updated DS to the latest version and uninstalled all extensions may interfere (Admin tools Antispam etc.) But still problem persists. Paypal says your IPN postbacks have empty headers. Is that related to DS? Does the DS creates IPN postbacks? If so How can I change postback's header. Regards

The problem resolved by great efforts of Ossolution Team. Paypal restricts socket connections from Turkey and requests User Agent Header .Adding this to code has resolved problem. Thanks a lot to team.
