Hello Magnus,

PayPal Pro only works in 3 countries: United States, United Kingdom and Canada. It does not work in Sweden. However, I think 2checkout does.

Sincerely, Giang

If anybody else has this problem with PayPal Payments Pro set up it is because you need to pay for Website Payments Pro via PayPal which is £20 per month (you cannot just use API signature details as they will not work).

Once you have applied for Website Payments Pro via PayPal Tools they will vet your web site then authorise/reject your application depending on shipping etc information on your web site (my application only took 24 hours as was already set up correctly). Once your account is authorised you go to the same screen (API signature) but it will now work with this plugin.

Hope this helps!

Graham

I have 2 Paypal accounts.
1 in UK and 1 in Spain that I have been using for over 10 years with different shopping carts.

1. When I use os_paypal both of these paypal accounts do not allow the customer to checkout with a credit card. Why not?
2. When I use os_paypal_pro I get the same issues as other users on this thread. It says my account is not setup correctly.

I really do not understand why the users are not allowed to use credit card with the os_paypal.
Can someone explain why the eshop plugin says that its a problem with the paypal account when clearly my paypal works and has been working fine for years on zencart, opencart, oscommerce, aceshop, mijoshop.

I'm very confused with eshop and paypal and I don't think I'm the only one.

Thanks
Mick

I think PayPal have changed things. I managed to get it working but have to pay £20 for the privelages (Website Payments Pro).

Hope you manage to sort it out.
